Step by Step Reentry Project exists to empower formerly incarcerated women to rebuild hope, reunite with their families and children, and have a safe space to land. Additionally, we are dedicated to raising awareness of the barriers that formerly incarcerated citizens face.

Step By Step Hope Project exists to holistically help women rebuild their lives after prison and jail. We do this by providing housing, comprehensive wrap around services, case management, advocacy, and leadership development.

We envision a world where all formerly and currently incarcerated women of upstate South Carolina are supported and restored to a healthy, self-sustaining path and have access to an affordable, permanent home.

A track record of over 1,300 women achieving emotional and financial stability that empowered them to rejoin their families. Nearly 15 years in operation, over 80% of our clients are in job placements, 40% sober living and 20% of previously homeless women were placed in permanent housing.
Our services are provided at less than 1/3 the cost of incarceration.
